Watercolor Digital Art Painting (WDAP)
Instead of traditional paints and brushes, I use computerized brushes with an endless palette of paint colors (and less clean up) to create a one-of-a-kind custom watercolor digital art painting print. To achieve this unique “watercolor” look, lines and painting techniques are hand-done (as opposed to relying on Photoshop filters) with a computer, graphic tablet and an electronic stylus.
Choose a favorite snapshot of a special someone, a special place or a meaningful object that you have photographed or have the permission to use (click here for tips on choosing the right photo) and it'll be transform it into an original digital art portrait on quality watercolor paper.
Ink & Paper
All WDAP portraits are printed using Giclee Printing, which is the highest quality digital ink jet printing available for fine artists today. These archival quality inks guarantee that your pints last a lifetime without fading or loss of color.
All WDAP portraits are printed on 310gsm watercolor paper. This 100% rag, acid free, warm white watercolor paper complies with the highest archival standards and is extremely age resistant. Its textured finish and rigidity of this fine art watercolor paper provides an authentic look and feel for reproductions of watercolor art.

*Pet WDAP rates include one (1) subject per portrait. Each additional subject in same image (from same photo or separate photo) is $75.00. More complicated subjects/backgrounds are subject to additional costs.
**There is a $50 charge for photos that are sent via
the mail instead of digitally.
Shipping & Sales Tax
Your piece will be securely wrapped, packed and shipped via UPS ground anywhere in the continental United States.*
There is a $12.00 handling fee plus shipping based on the shipment destination zip code. This is so I can give you the most accurate shipping rate instead of charging a single shipping fee based on the furthest distance. Sales tax (10.25%) is applied to orders in Illinois only.

Payment
30% of the base cost of your custom WDAP is due before work begins. The base cost is the rate that is stated for the size of the print, framed or mat only. This 30% deposit is non-refundable. If you should cancel your order prior to completion, the deposit is to compensate for any materials and time spent on producing the piece. The balance*, shipping, handling and tax (if applicable) is due before your final piece is shipped. I will email a small thumbnail image of the finished image to be approved prior to having it framed and shipped.
You can submit your 30% of the base payment and the balance via Zelle, Venmo, check**, money order or cash. If you are mailing your payment, please write to me here and I will send you the appropriate mailing address.
