I shot the original photograph in Chicago, IL at a Trombone Shorty concert.

 

I did this special piece for a couple who is fighting a difficult health issue. They love Trombone Shorty. His music and energy is so colorful and full of life that I wanted to capture that in a painting. I want this creation to serve as a reminder of good times in the past and present and that there are many more good times to come in the future.
